Raym Crow joined SPARC in February 2002. In this role, he identifies and negotiates partnerships with scholarly publishers and helps develop and implement SPARC strategic plans. Prior to joining SPARC, Raym served in a variety of publishing management positions including Vice President of Product Development at Congressional Information Service, Publisher at NEXIS Business Information, and Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at PC Data. He is a principal in Chain Bridge Group, a consulting firm specializing in strategic product and market planning for academic and business publishers.Raym has over 20 years' experience in academic publishing and library information services, specializing in strategic business planning, product development, and market management. As a SPARC consultant, Mr. Crow helps professional societies, academic institutions, and faculty researchers plan and develop new electronic journals and extend existing publishing programs to digital media.
